Climate change skeptics like to point to cold weather to discount or deflect concerns about climate change, but it is all part of the same process. Katharine Hahoe, leading environmental spokesperson, created a short video that explains why temperature fluctuations and increased precipitation, like our recent cold and snowy winter conditions, are actually symptoms of global warming – or “global weirding,” as she calls it.
