The ride is on! Gather at 5:45pm, start riding at 6pm from Village Hall. The route will be Green Bay Trail to Kenilworth and Winnetka, back via New Trier High School and Plaza del Lago. The Village of Wilmette will once again provide dumpsters for you to “pitch your pumpkins” and turn them into compost. Painted gourds and pumpkins are OK, but remove all candles and decorations. Dumpster at Village Hall ONLY on November 12th Help us keep these pumpkins out of the landfill.

The next Land Use committee meeting will continue the discussion of proposed updates to the Village tree ordinance. It is important to attend, listen, and provide any input you might have. Meeting will be the the Council Chamber room at Village Hall.
