Wilmette Collects Holiday Lights

New LED lights use a fraction of the energy of older holiday lights. Upgrade to energy-efficient lights this year and drop off old or broken lights at the Village’s Public Works facility for recycling. The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) and its member communities are offering a Holiday Light Recycling Program, free of charge, for all SWANCC area residents.

Where can I donate books? 

The Rotary Club of Wilmette Harbor is hosting a book drive in partnership with Open Books. Drop off new and gently used books on Jan. 29, 2022  from 9am – 11am at:

3500 Lake Street in Wilmette
