We are thrilled to be partnering with SkyDay – a project that turns photographs of the sky into citizen art. The project was created by Wilmette artist Ben Whitehouse who explains,
“This is a global citizen artwork designed to bring people together in support of our one, shared sky. Every sky photo posted is a statement by the sender that they care about our sky and want us to come together across cultures and borders to protect it for the benefit of all.”
We invite you to co-create our very own GGW SkyDay gallery by submitting sky photos from your camera or phone. (Photos must show only the sky – nothing else.) Our gallery will grow over the next three months and will premiere at Going Green Matters on March 10, 2019. Our goal is 1,000 photos!

Everyone is encouraged to submit photos. Upload sky photos from home over the holidays or while on vacation. Invite your friends to participate by forwarding this newsletter and by posting on Facebook and Instagram. #skydaywilmette
