Now that the north portion of the golf course is reopened, Fall Bird Walks are resuming. They will occur each Sunday in September, weather permitting.
Please join in at 7:30am for a walk of the North Loop. Meet on Maple Ave. in Wilmette, just West of the Canal, by the 10th hole tee. There is free parking on the south side of the street and you can park there for up to 4 hours.
First time birders are welcome. We will walk holes 9, 5, 4, 3 and 10 backwards, looking for migratory birds and identifying them. The event should run about an hour and a half.
Please bring a field guide if you have one and binoculars and dress for the weather.
