Join GGW and the Sunrise North Shore youth environmental group for a beach clean up morning at Gillson Beach. Look for our table at the south end of the park near the diagonal beachfront parking.  Feel free to come early or stay beyond 11am, but please check in at our table. Sunrise will provide info on the hazards of plastics in Lake Michigan and its surrounding ecosystems, and there will be some baked goods available for volunteers.

NOTE: Bring reusable gloves (not single-use plastic gloves) and a bucket or container to collect plastic pieces that wash up during every storm (note that some of these pieces are very small and may require using your hands!).
