SUMMARY:2022 Renewable Energy Day
DESCRIPTION:The Renewable Energy Day is a great way to explore options for moving away from fossil fuels. Learn about rooftop and community solar options\, EV’s and electric bikes\, and geo-thermal installations from trusted Wilmette neighbors.\n \n“Home base” for the event will be the parking lot of St. John’s Church across from the library. There you will find the GGW tent and volunteers\, electric vehicles (EV’s) and bikes on display\, and a table for the Village’s community solar program.\n \nAs a preview\, a Going Green Matters Webinar was held on Sept. 21\, 2022\, explaining many ways to address climate change at home\, including choosing energy-saving options for your home like induction burners\, heat pumps\, solar panels\, EV chargers and more.
