Go Green Wilmette (GGW) initiated the Business Partners for a Greener Wilmette (BPGW) program in 2012. This program offers public recognition to Wilmette businesses that engage in environmentally responsible practices and encourages increased sustainability in local business practices wherever feasible. The window decal shown will serve as our recognition of your efforts and can be placed prominently on a window or door for all to see.
Go Green Wilmette is also collaborating with Shedd Aquarium’s Let’s Shedd Plastic campaign to increase local awareness of the problems that single-use plastics cause for aquatic animals and water quality in the Great Lakes, and in oceans and waterways around the world.
