Go Green Wilmette occasionally hosts workdays to improve the habitat at the north end of Gillson Park. We’d love all the helpers we can get! Garden expertise is NOT required!

The work involves things like transplanting of plants from dense areas into places that need filling in, weeding and thinning our dense areas.

It is a wonderful way to spend an hour or two with fellow gardeners and a great family event too. Come for a short shift or enjoy helping for a couple of hours. Bring your own gloves and favorite tool.  Check our calendar for specific times and dates!
