Join The Alliance for Early Childhood, the Wilmette Park District, and Go Green Wilmette for a morning of sandcastle building, birding, and caring for our local beach! Bring your favorite sandcastle-building tools and a sense of adventure as we build, play, and work together to help keep Gillson Beach beautiful. Families will have opportunities to participate in a beach clean-up, learn about the birds and migration patterns that make this shoreline an important habitat, and discover ways we can care for the natural world around us. We’ll meet at the swimming beach on the north end of Gillson Park.
