Field Museum: Return to Nature – Rewilding Landscapes Big and Small

Join in for an incredible program to hear authors Isabella Tree and Charlie Burnell discuss their new publication, The Book of Wilding: A Practical Guide to Rewilding, Big and Small, and to learn about efforts underway to rewild and bring back nature in the Chicago Region.

Presented in partnership with The Garden Conservancy, Chicago Wilderness Alliance, and the Chicago Park District, this program introduces the global movement of rewilding and offers practical strategies and resources for people to transform their green spaces into critical habitat for pollinators and other wildlife.

Gather outside afterward for a reception in the Museum’s Rice Native Garden where you’ll be able to see the splendor of native plants in bloom, talk with the authors and museum scientists, meet with artists as they reveal new pollinator-themed artwork, and network with others taking up this vital work across the Chicago Region.
