The Land Use Committee of the Village of Wilmette is reviewing our tree ordinance in order to better protect our valuable and beautiful trees. GGW’s Tree Committee has been advising the Village based on recommendations of The Morton Arboretum and the Chicago Region Trees Initiative. The Land Use Committee will meet again on Nov. 16 at 7pm at Village Hall. Meetings are open to the public and you are encouraged to attend to learn more and voice your opinion. Trustees Peter Barrow, Kathy Dodd and Gina Kennedy serve on this important committee and they invite your input.
